So my teacher assumed I was either way too stubborn or depressed. My chin was still stuck up in arrogance,’my pet is staying with me’. ‘Pets are not allowed in here!’, she almost yelled. ‘well you are going to have to put up with it’, I yelled back.
That was my pet, her name is dolly and she’s a dog….uh… I find it hard to call her a dog. I just used it so you could know what kind of animal she is. She is my buddy. Have I told you how we met?. Perhaps not. Okay you know how after getting a good shout from your mom and you would love to just run out of the house and if not cry, grieve a little bit? I got a very good shout from my mom on a summer holiday all because of a stubborn sibling. Well I did run out of the house and then I found myself on a lonely track road. It took a while for me to realize that I had wandered far away. How could she be so unfair? ughh…..
Oh I think I missed an introduction. My name is Ruby and I am 14. I have three siblings with me being the fourth one and that means I am the last child. No it isn’t enjoyable at all; I get hand me downs from all my older siblings, all girls and I go around looking weird in oversized clothes. Now weird isn’t weird to me. In fact, weird is totally normal to me; I guess that is because I have gotten accustomed to a lot of weird things. For example we live in a house made out of aluminium strips nailed together. It is a bungalow but you won’t believe it when I say it is a very beautiful house. The colourful green and blue paintings kind of camouflaged the silvery aluminium colours. My house has three bedrooms with a sitting room and 3 bathrooms. My father is a very weird man who thinks he is the most creative person in the world. Remember I said weird was a normal thing not just for me but for my family too. We lived in the lonelier part of the country with hills and valleys and farms and all. I think that will be enough about me for now.
